Top Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Peru, Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the maps and navigation category on Android in Peru showcased notable trends across several leading apps. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated varying patterns in downloads and active users.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery maintained a consistent performance in weekly downloads, fluctuating between 38K and 56K. Active users started at approximately 718K, peaking at over 1M mid-December, before slightly declining to around 856K by the end of the quarter.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at about 40K and reaching over 51K by the end of December. Active users also showed an upward trend, peaking at over 2.9M before settling at around 2.5M.

Phone Tracker and GPS Location saw its downloads peak at 28K in late October, with active users consistently hovering around the 45K to 55K range throughout the quarter.

The Phone Locator: Family Location app observed fluctuating downloads, peaking at over 30K in late October. Active users increased from 9K at the start to over 48K in early December, before stabilizing around 40K.

Finally, Waze Navigation & Live Traffic demonstrated stable download numbers, starting at 13K and increasing to over 18K by the end of December. Active users showed a slight increase, peaking at over 1M mid-December, before settling back to around 953K.
